According to a report from Fox 13, law enforcement sources confirmed that Dolph, born Adolph Robert Thorton Jr., was shot while inside of Makeda's Homemade Cookies, located at 2370 Airways Blvd in Memphis, on Wednesday afternoon (Nov. 17).
Maurice Hill, who owns the establishment, told the new outlet that his employees said the Paper Route Empire CEO had come into the store to purchase cookies when someone drove up, shot and killed the rapper.

At least eight people were killed and scores injured when a crowd surged toward a stage at a Houston music festival on Friday night, squeezing audience members who had nowhere to escape, officials said.
About 50,000 people were at the sold-out outdoor Astroworld Festival at NRG Park -- the stadium complex where the Astrodome and the NRG Stadium stand -- when the incident happened just after 9 p.m. CT, officials said.
Video from the event showed the performer on stage -- rapper and event organizer Travis Scott -- pause and look on in confusion as an ambulance with flashing lights moved into the densely packed crowd.

That sparked panic, and the situation worsened and overwhelmed security personnel there, he said.

Twenty-three people were taken to hospitals, and eight of them died, Peña said. One patient is 10 years old, and at last check was in critical condition, Peña told CNN Saturday morning.
Some of the patients were in cardiac arrest as they were taken to hospitals, Peña said. Further details about the injuries weren't immediately available. The causes of death will be determined by a medical examiner, he said.
The deadly surge came hours after at least one person was injured when people rushed through a VIP entrance to the event in the afternoon.

Nassau County Police in New York say he was walking on the road between Roslyn Road and Raff Avenue Friday evening around 6 PM ET, when he was hit by a vehicle heading northbound. Cops say the driver then fled the scene without a meaningful description from witnesses.
Robert was taken to an area hospital in critical condition, where he succumbed to his injuries and passed over the weekend. The Homicide Squad is investigating the case and asking for the public's help in identifying the responsible party. There was not a decent description of the suspect vehicle provided.

Quando Rondo ended the year with a lot of media coverage stemming from his connection to King Von's shooting death. The Savannah, Georgia-based rapper was present on the scene where King Von lost his life. His associate, known as Lul Tim, reportedly fired the shots that ended Von's life after the rapper seemingly sucker-punched Quando, as allegedly seen on video. As Von's murder suspect remains behind bars, Quando is off the hook as it has been revealed that the rapper is not under investigation.
He has been moving around freely, appearing to be pretty unbothered about his connection to King Von's killing. At times, Quando has gotten pretty menacing with his threats on social media. He continued that activity with a new picture, posing with a couple of his homies, Crip bandanas, and guns.
