Young Thug is definitely working on a project called "Carter 6".Who knew Carter 6 would come out before Carter 5? Better yet, who knew Carter 6 would be performed by anyone other than Lil Wayne himself. Last year, Young Thug hinted that his first proper studio album would bear the title, as he planned to follow in Wayne's footsteps following his proposed retirement.Since then, Weezy has been battling his label to have his swan song released, but has been unsuccessful in dropping the album. Weirdly, this has not stopped Thugger's plans to release the follow up, as today he shared a snippet of a "Grindin'" remix on Instagram, captioning it "#CARTER6 OTW".His reps at 300 confirmed the project in a tweet, though it's not clear if the title belongs to Thug's debut album, or is simply another mixtape. The fact that he shared a freestyle to one of Wayne's songs along with the announcement suggests the latter, though a circulated tracklist for C5 did list him as a feature on the official remix.Check out his Insta post below. The Weeknd first grabbed the Award for R&B/Soul Recording of the Year for "Often", which he released last summer, and he ended the night winning Artist of the Year. In addition to taking home two trophies, The Weeknd also graced the Juno stage by performing his latest hit, "Earned It", which appears on the soundtrack to "Fifty Shades of Gray". Rihanna slated to become Dior's first ever black spokesmodel. Rihanna will star in the fourth installment of Dior's "Secret Garden" video series scheduled to run in film and print this spring, making her Dior's first ever black ambassador. She joins notable Dior ambassadors Jennifer Lawrence, Marion Cotillard and Natalie Portman. The pop star was spotted this week in Versailles on set with filmmaker Steven Klein, reports Vogue UK. The third installment of the series, also set in Versailles, has amassed over nine million views on YouTube since Dior released it in May 2014. International Business Times reports that Rihanna will succeed Charlize Theron as the face of Dior's "J'Adore Dior" line of perfumes.

Yesterday, Safaree was that guy.
Yesterday footage emerged of Nicki Minaj’s ex Safaree getting approached by a gang of would-be thugs asking him to leave their block “or else.” Apparently the rapper was attempting to hit up Flatbush Brooklyn to shoot a video for his song ‘Multiply.’ But before the director could yell “cut,” SB was getting cut off by some goons who circled him, threatened him and followed him to his car. One even made the gesture of having a gun before an unbothered looking Safaree finally decided to head off.
Once the video went viral, Meek Mill made sure to “like” it on IG …. and we all know a “like” is more than a “like” coming from Meek, considering he put hisbaby mother on blast just weeks ago for double-tapping Safaree’s pics while warning her not to get involved in the love triangle between him, Nicki Minaj and SB.
Once Safaree’s followers caught wind of the Philly rapper’s shade, they flooded Meek’s comment section with “corn” emojis, calling him “corny” and “Corn Mill (cornmeal)” for what they felt was a shot at Nicki’s ex. Meanwhile, Safaree’s comments got hit with countless “trophy” emoji’s and praises from fans applauding him for walking away.

What’s pretty interesting about all of this is that when the video first went viral, majority of the headlines actually mocked Safaree and tried to imply he got chased out of his own hood or rather, “punked.” However, the overwhelming response of those followers who laced SB’s comment section with trophies only proves that our generation is truly beginning to understand how much #AllLivesMatter. Between the police killings of young Black men throughout the past few years to the protestors that fought for justice in Ferguson, it just shows that none of it went in vain. Watching someone get run up on is not, nor will ever be funny.
Meanwhile, it looks as though the guy who uploaded the video, ‘Killa Vuitton’ might be a friend of Meek’s. Before sharing the footage of his crew running up on Safaree to his Instagram page, “Killa” had shared a photo of him and Meek Mill posted up at the club. Meek also liked the original video from Killa’s page (not a repost online) minutes after he posted it.
After the incident, rapper the game called into Shade 45 suggesting that Safaree should have defended himself versus “run off.”
“Anybody see that n***a Safaree get ran off 43rd? [laughs] I met him before… thought he was a real stand up guy. Tell that n***a to go back over there and shoot his f**king video and f**k a n***a up.”
Welp! No ego is worth a life and it’s okay to walk away, camera rolling or not.

As if we really needed confirmation on the ‘”realness” of reality TV, VH1’s Puerto Rican Princess Joseline Hernandez burst “Love & Hip Hop” fans’ bubbles this week when she took the stand in court the other day and swore under oath that reality television is fake.
Remember last year, when all hell broke loose on the “Love & Hip Hop” reunion special when Joseline, along with her man Stevie J, got into a crazy brawl with former friend Benzino and his new lady Althea Eaton? Well, Althea didn’t appreciate Joseline going upside her head on national television, so she’s suing her, claiming Joseline was high on crack cocaine during the beat down.
Looking and sounding like a much more innocent version of the Joseline we’ve all grown familiar with, TMZ got a clip of her deposition where she says that not only is reality TV nothing but a bunch of acting, but the crazy “Steebie J”-loving persona that she plays on TV isn’t what she’s really like in real life.
“With reality TV, it’s mostly…it’s called ‘reality’ but it’s a lot of acting. I say that because a lot of the girls on the show, they act. It’s a lot of acting on reality TV shows, whether it’s “Love & Hip Hop” or another reality TV show.”
Attorney: So the Joseline that we see on “Love & Hip Hop,” would you say that we’re seeing you act a character that you’ve created or is that the real you that we see?
“Well, I mean, the reality TV show showcases a lot of who we are not. I say that because it’s just like, you never know what happens on reality TV. They’ll showcase your music, they’ll showcase certain things, but that’s not who Joseline Hernandez is.”

Seems like every other day somebody is claiming to be an inspiration behind a character on Empire. Reality spitfire Joseline Hernandez thought Cookie Lyon was all her before Taraji P. Henson quickly killed that noise and revealed her character was inspired by Lil Kim. Diddy’s youngest son, Christian, posted up a pic recently, implying that he and his brothers Justin and Quincy are the real Lyon boys.
Now NBA player Iman Shumpert is side-eying the show because Tiana, who plays Hakeem’s industry girlfriend, reminds him of somebody — his chick Teyana Taylor!
The Cleveland Cavalier is not okay with Empire producers seemingly swagger jacking Teyana, who like Tiana, is also a R&B singer, dancer and actress, and not cutting a check. Speaking with Cleveland.com, Iman notes the similar styles and the fact that both women have the same name as enough receipts to prove Empire’s Tiana = Teyana.

Frequent collaborators Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan were once so tight that Thugger would refer to RHQ as his “hubbie.”
Now they seem headed for a divorce.
In an interview last month, Rich Homie Quan announced he was taking some time away from The Rich Gang.
This apparently irked Thugger so much that he referenced the interview during a recent stop on his Rodeo tour, and then disparaged Homie Quan.

Quan had made clear in the interview that that Rich Gang wasn’t over — he just wanted to focus on his own material.
