Lil Durk clarifies why he chose to diss Tyga on his upcoming "Chi-Raq" remix with Meek Mill. Lil Durk surprised many when he decided to come at Tyga in a short clip of his upcoming "Chi-Raq" remix posted last week. It wasn't clear why Durk had decided to diss the rapper, but it was definitely a blatant jab, with the Signed To The Streets spitter saying, "Tyga only got one name but that nigga ain’t got one stripe". In a new interview with XXL, Durk has clarified his issues with Tyga, which he revealed began with a line he had about Blac Chyna, which Tyga asked him to change. Durk then says he was willing to do the line over in exchange for a collaboration, but while Tyga initially agreed, he later dodged Durk's texts. He also revealed that the final version of the verse will appear on a remix with Meek Mill. Check out excerpts from the sit-down below. XXL: I saw the preview to the “Chi-Raq” remix, and heard the Tyga diss. What happened there? Lil Durk: The song with me, Chris Brown and French Montana, I had said a line in there, a line about Blac Chyna. It wasn’t a diss, it was just a line, like, I want her and shit. It wasn’t no diss. When we was in L.A.—me, Tyga and Chris Brown, when we first did the hook—Tyga came in and heard the line, [and] he felt some type of way. It was tension since then. Chris Brown had played it back to him. It was tension. [Tyga] was like, “Man, just change it,” and I was like, “No doubt, I’m going to change it once we get something in, I fuck with you.” He said he fucks with me and he’s been texting me since I left L.A., like, “I’m going to send you something, you going to send me something, etc.” Then he stop replying and shit, and I felt some type of way and said, fuck it then, I’m not going to kiss his ass. What did Tyga ask, specifically? To remove the reference completely? He asked me to shout his name out on it. So I said I’ll do it, and he said we’re going to get some work in. I think he just told me that so I could just change it and I caught on to what he was doing, so I turned up on him. When did you record the “Chi-Raq (Remix)”? Like three or four days [ago]; no more than a week. Meek [Mill] hit me and said he wanted me to get on [the track] with him. Do you think you settled things with that line? Yeah, I addressed it enough. I was just like, fuck it, anything you do in a rap, it got to be an attention-grabber, so why not address it? You see what it’s doing—million views on DISisHipHop.

After the NBA's ban on Donald Sterling, many celebs have expressed their interest in buying the LA Clippers. According to Business Insider, potential buyers began coming forward after Adam Silver said during the NBA press conference that he would try his best to get Sterling to sell the team. Donald Sterling has shown no interest in selling the team, but that hasn't stopped many stars from making an offer. Hip hop mogul and Revolt honcho Diddy made it aware on Twitter he wants in. "I will always be a Knicks fan, but I am a business man. #DiddyBuyTheClippers #NameYourPrice" he tweeted. Diddy recently lost a bid to Jennifer Lopez for Fuse TV. The mogul's $200 million offer was outbid by Jennifer Lopez's $226 million. Others who have shown interest include Floyd Mayweather and actor Frankie Muniz. During a press conference to promote his upcoming match with Marcos Maidana this weekend, Mayweather suggested that a group of fellow billionaires should get together to bid on the team. Former Malcolm in the Middle star Frankie Muniz, who is a big fan of the team, has been thrown in the discussion after the actor posted a lengthy letter about his disgust of Sterling and his strong devotion to the Clippers. If the stars follow through with bids, they might have a little competition. Former CEO of Microsoft, Steve Ballmer, and his business partner Chris Hansen were recently shopping for teams with the goal to move an NBA team to Seattle. Ballmer and Hansen lost a bid for the Sacramento Kings last year when the NBA blocked the $625 million deal. The LA Clippers are currently worth $575 million. Do you think any of these guys have a chance of owning the Clippers?

50 Cent Compliments Drake

50 Cent also explains why he released "Hold On" and "Don't Worry About It" at the same time.
50 Cent says that Drake has a particular style of music in which he excels.
“I think Drake is ill with relationship-based content because that’s what he actually does," 50 Cent says during an interview with Baltimore radio station 92Q Jams. “He does that.”
Earlier this month, 50 Cent said he would like to work with the Canadian artist. "I haven't worked with Drake or Rihanna, and I'd like to work with them," 50 Cent said in a Town Hall interview that aired on SiriusXM's Shade 45. "They're artists that they do things that I don't do. It's a different thing. So we have to find the right song for us to be working with on each other."
During the 92Q interview, 50 Cent did not cite any other artists he thought were noteworthy.
“A lot of other artists [got] like one joint,” he said.
On the road to promote his forthcoming Animal Ambition album, which is slated for a June 3 release, the Queens, New York rapper included the song “A Baltimore Love Thing” on his 2005 album, The Massacre.
Animal Ambition is slated to feature the single “Hold On.”
“It’s certain joints I knew people would relate to them,” 50 Cent says of the cut. “And at the same time, that’s why I put ‘Hold On’ and ‘Don’t Worry About It’ out at the same time because ‘Don’t Worry About It’ has a tempo of what actually is happening at the nightclub environment right now."

The Game, prolific and notorious for is raw and uncut lyrics of fighting street violence and gang altercations (as he is and always has been a self proclaimed Blood). But this time, Game finds himself not battling street life, but rather a reign all too familiar in hip-hop and hip-hop culture: domestic violence. Police reports were filed about a week ago via Game’s fiancee Tiffney Cambridge regarding her man attacking her and it was reported that police took pictures of her bruised face burdened by The Game’s reaction to an alleged argument (Let us pray an image doesn’t get leaked that will all make us reminisce to a Chris Brown vs. Rihanna mutilation). The two appeared on the, “Marrying The Game” reality show and seemed the perfect couple. The Game has time and time again taken graceful pictures with his children, creating the profile of a family man, a changed man, perhaps, from his gang induced youth. However, this (potentially) goes to show, not all is what it seems. As of now, nothing has been confirmed and Game is bluntly denying the accusations against him. I hope they didn’t already put a down payment on that wedding.

Miami native, gangster rap vet Trick Daddy was arrested yesterday on a slew of charges, including possession of cocaine and two counts of being a felon in possession of a firearm. Trick, whose real name is Maurice Young, was under surveillance from local police for quite some time because they suspected Young was growing marijuana on his property. Finally, Friday, they acted on their hunch, and pulled Trick Daddy over as he was leaving his driveway, and searched his property, finding, among other things, cocaine and a gun under his pillow. After posting $6,100 bond, Trick was released.
