Rapper Bobby Shmurda arrested in drug case!
Bobby Shmurda, 19, was netted in a sting centered around the Quad Recording Studio in Times Square on a sealed indictment, said Kati Cornell, a spokeswoman for the Office of the Special Narcotics Prosecutor. The investigation involved violent incidents in Brooklyn that include shootings and narcotics traffic, she said.
Other members of his group, GS9, were also arrested. Cops were hunting for two more people, including a parole violator, police said.
Born Ackquille Pollard, Shmurda has been in hot water before. He was busted on a felony weapons charge in June and on a misdemeanor charge of pot possession in August.
Shmurda is known for creating popular hip hop Shmoney Dance. A law enforcement source said Shmurda was stopped in a car in Brooklyn after leaving the studio famous for being the site of the 1994 nonfatal shooting of rapper 2Pac. A total of 16 weapons were confiscated during the raid, a law enforcement source said.
The indictment is expected to be unsealed Thursday morning in Manhattan Supreme Court. The arrests were the result of a longterm probe by the NYPD's Brooklyn Violence Reduction Task Force.

RICK ROSS SHARES PHOTOS OF MEEK MILL IN JAIL
Meek Mill is holding up behind bars. The Philly rapper, who was sentenced to three to six months in jail in July for violating his probation following a 2009 drug and guns conviction, is nearing his release date. His MMG boss Rick Ross shared a couple new photos of the incarcerated rapper on social media.
In one shot, Meek poses in gray sweatpants and a sweatshirt with a smile on his face. He also sits in the prison yard surrounded by friends and family.
“Meek in da building all OG’s roun’m,” said Rozay.
Meek was reportedly denied an early release, but Rozay said he’ll be home soon. “Meek almost at the Door #FreeMeekMill Dreams Worth More than $$$$,” he tweeted.
His sophomore album Dreams Worth More Than Money was delayed from its September date. “His album is coming,” Ross assured his fans. “We ask that the fans and the media continue to support him and his music during this time. He’ll be home soon. ‘Dreams Are Worth More Than Money,’ and family is worth more than Everything. MMG FOR LIFE.”
His peers including Drake, DJ Khaled, Sean Garrett, and Stalley have also joined the “Free Meek” campaign.

Chief Keef Has Been Dropped From Interscope Records
Chief Keef has been dropped from his deal with Interscope Records, according to DIHH News In the report, which uses information from unnamed sources within the label, it is revealed that Sosa was released from his contract due to tensions surrounding the handling of Keef's upcoming album and the overall direction of his career. The report states that Keef's camp tried to get moving on the album and get it out, but the label wasn't interested, which lead to arguments with officials at Interscope and eventually lead to Keef being dropped.
Sosa originally signed with Interscope in 2012 and went on to release his only album on the label, Finally Rich, which has sold around 200,000 units since its release. It's worth noting that Keef's upcoming project, Back From the Dead 2, which he put up for pre-order on iTunes last night, does not list Interscope as the label, but rather Glo Gang/GBE. We will continue to update this story when more details are made available.
Update: Chief Keef has confirmed on Twitter that he was dropped from Interscope a week ago.
