Leading artist development and management firm, Blueprint Group, have announced a new partnership between Lil Wayne and Mountain Dew (a drink company owned by PepsiCo) called the “DEWeezy” campaign. The sponsorship is set to launch today at the 2012 South By Southwest music festival in Austin, Texas. The campaign titled “DEWeezy” is made up from Mountain Dew (DEW) and Wayne‘s nickname (Weezy). He and his girl Dhea looked like they had a long day yesterday while sitting courtside at the Staples Center for the L.A. Lakers vs. Miami Heat game. Dhea actually looked as though there were better things she could be doing than sitting up in some expensive seats watching Kobe, Lebron and em’ play.

Wayne was sporting his Beats by Dr. Dre headphones which have been his favorite accessory lately while Dhea was rocking a huge diamond ring her ring finger. On Valentine’s Day, Wayne allegedly took her to a restaurant and had the wait staff slip the ring in her dessert. He later jumped up and said ‘She Said Yes’, which sparked rumors that he proposed.

Could this be the chick that will make an honest, committed man out of Weezy? Last week, he tweeted ‘I feel like I’ve died and went to Dhea‘.

A woman riding in the passenger seat of an SUV driven by Young Buck was shot in the shoulder early this morning when another car drove alongside and opened fire, but the rapper was unharmed ... this according to a local report. The woman was treated and released according to WSMV in Nashville, TN. There was a third passenger in the vehicle who was also not injured. The shooting occurred at approximately 3:30 AM, police told the television station. Young Buck is from the area and was reportedly back in town for a music project.
